WHEN DO WE MEET * MEETING SCHEDULE

WHEN DO WE MEET?
Every Tuesday

MEETING SCHEDULE:
We start gathering and visiting at 1630 hours.  We share a meal
beginning at 1700 hours.

We share the KP clean-up duty at1750 hours.

We begin our group meeting at 1800 hours and continue until
approximately 1930 hours.

During our group meeting we share our group “Comfort Contract.” Then introduce a specific topic, thought tor idea for discussion striving to make these of interest to everyone present.

We also attempt to leave sometime for group members to talk out any difficulties they are experiencing or what we call “open topic.”

Though our official meeting may end, we strive to make certain any member who is “up against it” gets all the time that vet needs to work on an individual issue or difficulty before leaving for home.

We leave no vet behind!

OUR VIEW OF THOSE WHO SERVE IN OUR NATION’S

OUR VIEW OF THOSE WHO
SERVE IN OUR NATION’S
ARMED FORCES:

We believe when an individual, man
or woman, raises his right hand to take the formal oath of allegiance to The United States of America and to serve faithfully in any branch of our armed forces that the individual doing so is also in essence signing a blank check payable to America and to her citizens.

This individual agrees to go where he
is told to go, to learn what she needs
to learn, to become proficient enough
to then teach others how to get the job done, and then, if necessary, these men and women go once more to the places they are told to go.
These special people go to the
places ordinary citizens would not wish to go.  Once there, they do their duty.  They get the job done.

Often these men and women are placed in harm’s way, serving in
places with  strange sounding names they risk their lives for their
comrades, for their country and for American ideals.

This is the way it has always been.  This is the way it will always be.  We view these men and women as truly representing the very best of we Americans.

They have earned our respect, they have earned the honors bestowed upon them, and they have earned our continued support  once they return from those strange sounding places where often times their lives have been changed forever.
